Just fallen
pure white fluff,
moistly grasping every tree limb,
gracing every
road
mailbox
car
roof top,
crunching with each step,
shining.
Sadly melted snowflakes,
frozen into piercingly cold
ice cones
outlining eaves of sleeping homes.
Soft, glowing heart,
illuminating the heavens.
Full.
The world’s night light.
Sweet, sparkling
decorations in the sky,
celebrating the season,
holding up the moon.
